These 3 things that has been working good for me so far .......a simple cleanser, benzoyl peroxide treatment and simple oil free moisturiser..
My skin has been clearing up now except for some acne spots/scar. Once upon a time, i searched online for a simple non-harsh cleanser and found many good reviews on Avene Cleanance Soapless gel cleanser meant for Oily, blemish-prone sensitive skin. So i bought it for $32.00 and yeah it's quite expensive for a cleanser to me. It stated that it helps purify the skin and regulate oil secretions. It lathers well and and it does not dries up my skin maybe due to pumpkin seed oil which is totally harmless to skin, infact it has highly nourishing effect (pls google it if need more information)
The next step will be benzoyl peroxide treatment. Yup, i do not use any toner at all.Just keep it simple. It's best to use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide instead of 10 for sensitive skin but my skin can tolerate this maybe because i've been using it for so many years now. And i will apply it all over my face except the eye area.
The last step is Neutrogena oil free moisturiser for combination skin. It's alcohol-free, allergy tested, fragrance-free and most importantly it won't clog pores. I pump it out and rub it between my fingers and pat it on my face after 2 minutes of applying the treatment.
Once or twice a week, i will use AHA mask by Freeman to get rid of dead skin cells and hopefully hyperpigmentation. I don't use face scrubs anymore because it's not good for blemish prone skin. Hope these products will continue to work for me for a very very very long time.
