Bugs....pls stay away

From last week, Aliah and i were sick from normal flu but luckily Dh was on leave that few days so at least i able to get some rest. Being a full-time mother, i don't get mc (medical certificate of being UNFIT) from my daily chores..lol.

Even Mr husband is at home, he won't be able to manage the house affair except for bath time, feeding time, watching tv and lastly the kids sleeping time. All in auto-pilot...Well, he is the CEO while i'm the manager who runs the company...Without a manager, CEO will be blur ...hehehe
Anyway, in a men's world....i am grateful that he's willing to do all that...i know i didn't say enough to thank him but i really do appreciate his gesture despite his too many questions on how to do this..how to do that (dont get me start) especially when I'm sick..... ;-D

It took few days for me and Aliah to get well (alhamdullillah) but now Aniq is feeling sick from yesterday...
And one thing after another, Dh said he feels like he's getting sick too before heading to work.
Oh no ...not him...oh pls no...
Once he got sick, he will behaves and whines like a baby...he may looks big and tough but when he got sick...he will be the opposites.. (jangan marah yang....i love you for your imperfections)
i think i need to stock up lots of vitamin C to keep these bugs away.

Ps: Need to reinstore the condition of the house and lots of laundry to be done now that i'm well and kicking..hahaha(crying from inside)

Making of Banana Cake.

Since i have 3 overripen bananas leftover, i decided to bake banana cake from it since i conveniently have the other ingredients at home. Like i already said in my previous post, this is the easiest cake to bake by far!

Beat the butter, caster sugar and vanilla essence till light and creamy.

Pour in the eggs, milk and mashed bananas.Mix them well.

Pour in the dry ingredients like flour, baking soda, a pinch of salt that was shifted together.

Pour into my baking tin which is 9" deep cake pan. Bake at 180 d.c for 30-35 mins.


And Voilaaa....! Let it cool then slice them and serve with coffee for afternoon break...

And it was gone in 1 1/2 days....

Collected our camera at Canon centre and Dh was exploring it at Burger King to have our Dinner as well. We were extremely pleased with it..Definitely better than our ex-camera.



Went to ToyR'us to please the kids ...well Aliah is not feeling that well so seeing toys really made her feel better for a little while even though she won't smile at my hp's camera.

I used to fantasize about being Puteri Bintang when i was very young with my cousins...ha ha ha while my other cousins fantasize being Puteri Pelangi and Puteri Bulan and blah blah blah....how silly of us..

I love Sundae Pie At Burger King especially when it's gone soft ....extra yummy with the chocolate crust base at the bottom. How should i describe it..?

Tried the 7 inches long burger/sandwich but beforehand told Dh he need to finish the other half of the sandwich. I know for sure that i can't finish it so he gladly told me that he will finish the rest of it for me...My heroic husband of mine.....haiy..
It tasted a little like mushroom swiss except there is no mushroom. Instead there are fried shallots on top of the cheese like bawang goreng. Overall i would say that it tasted quite nice and ok to me.


Stumbled upon this restaurant called Barcelos in Vivocity at level 2(i think). Saw someone in tudung ate here so i checked out the halal logo and i saw it!! I don't know what they served but definitely must be chicken because of the chicken/ rooster beside the name of the stall...duh! Could it be like Kenny Rogers style or something else? Will check this out next time...

Necklace/Art/PurpleCups/Camera

Bought Aliah a new necklace. Cost $8.90

Aniq chose black paint to colour his ball picture and with that black colour left on his brush, he dipped his brush into other primary colour so all the other colour got infected with the black...Alamak....

Next time, it's better to pour the paint into a palette...ok dear mummy..

Aliah without saying is good at colouring......she chose red paint to colour her rooftop of her house picture.

Upsize 2 meals today at lunch so we got the purple cups Oooor glasses..errr??

So far....i find that the blue ones still got the best colour of all. I think the next one will be charcoal colour, right?

Dh got a call from Canon centre and said that we can collect our new camera already....Yabedabedoooo!! SO we decided to collect it this Thursday and be ready to Snap Snap Snap...click click click...

Ayam Penyet Ria

I love Avocado juice and it's a must everytime i visited a Indonesian Restaurant . It's all Shikin's fault(cousin). I used to yikes this..then because Shikin always ordered this and let me try again and again...i began to like it bit by bit....And became one of my favourites..

Sometimes we need to give a chance to people that we might detest and we might be surprised to see something good ...aiseyman sempat berfasafah lak aku ni..

Chritmas's Decoration

These were taken actually last year around December.. i only stumbled upon these photos in my hubby's phone and so i wanted to share about this restaurant serving Ayam Penyet(Smashed Chicken). It's called Ayam Penyet Ria. It's not a fancy restaurant or looked like it but Dh and i agreed that this is the best Ayam Penyet so far and this is going to be our favourites.

It' s a little pricey than the normal Nasi Ayam Penyet that we tried at Hawker's but to me it's worth every penny. The waiter/waitress gave us a list for us to tick the food list of what we wanted to order and i think Dh handed the list to the cashier and paid it first before the food came. That's how their system is.....

The food came with a lot kerak and the sambal is so shiok and hot....fuuhh...I remembered that Dh asked for more sambal because i repeat....the sambal is so shiok....

I did'nt try their assam soup ....i wondered why i did'nt actually as it's usually a must for me when i eat Nasi Ayam Penyet..(shrug)

Gifts from mother-in-law.

After exploring the bike for sometimes, he already figured it out...so he was cycling away so happily..

Aliah has not master it yet but hopefully soon. Regardless of that, she's still enjoing her bike.

Dh asked his mother and his sister Yana to tag along the time we went to Vivocity last Thursday. That day we trade in our camera…
It’s been a while that we didn’t go out together and his mother recently wanted him to bring her out on our next family outing because she was bored to tears at home.

We met her and Yana on the 1st level of Vivocity when we came back from the Canon center. We ate late lunch/ early dinner at Banquet and I discovered that the Char Kway Teow Cockles there were tasty and well-cooked to my liking…Definitely a keeper..!
Just that the chef took his own sweet time to cook it so........ patience is a virtue…
I rather waited a little to eat delicious food rather than quick fix but getting bad food.
No....no…no can do.

Then his mother insisted on going to Giant Superstore and Yana just smiling away…

On the way there, Yana told me that her mother wanted to buys toys for her grandchildren. Oooohh I see…..

She bought a nice shirt for Aniq and a pretty dress for Aliah. So I thought that’s it…
Till she wanted to buy each of them a bicycle….Dh and I were like don’t know what to say…because we thought of buying them that end of this year….like bonus time..
My mother-in-law saw how awkward we are and she insisted harder so we granted her wish to make the kids happy. Of course the kids were elated when they were getting the bikes….which kid wouldn’t, right?

We took a maxi-cab (7-seater) because of the bicyles and some other stuff we need to carry home. This was the 1st time I took maxi-cab by SMRT and it was a smooth ride. We dropped her and Yana home first before we headed home. That’s the least we could do for them. We had quite a great time, I can say……

and wanted to know the repair cost for our spoilt camera. And i was surprised that it will cost freaking $180. Wow...i think I rather get a brand new camera then so the staff told us we can trade in and get special price if we get a new camera from them.

Well, of course we still wanted to get canon after our good/stable relationship with our deceased camera....(still in mourning state).lol We need a camera soon because of short holiday trip we thought of taking this july and not to mention Hari Raya coming soon..
We like the PowerShot even though my eyes were desiring the Canon IXUS 100 IS (the red one)...yeah i fell in love with it when Azian entered the Canon Competition thingy and that was the winning prize.
But da serik la ...spending so much money on camera (paid $500 plus before) then get it spoiled in a flash... (heart's bleeding).
Anyway, PowerShot suffice our demand in a camera..i mean good enough for family photos...

So it only cost us $267.00(special price) and we ordered the blue one..(tired of black and silver) but it will take 2 weeks for it to arrive...never mind i'll wait..

Dh told me last night that he heard a song sang by American’s Idol winner last season, David cook and said it was on radio for few times when he was at work.
Then I said yeah and I rummaged my brain to remember what’s the song title and I said that it’s started with the letter P. So went to youtube and check …yeah it’s called Permanent. I have the song in my playlist and I was touched by the lyrics. I heard this song was dedicated to his late brother and the last time he sang it live on American’s Idol this season, his eyes were brimmed with tears…Such love for a brother is rare..

Kamisah called me at 9am just now and had a little chat. Seems like Aiman is fine now except some bruises are still showing. (of course, it's been only 4 days)

Later will be going to Vivocity after zohor..that's why updating my blog so early.

Pen it down and feel good.

Suddenly feeling aroused (not that kinda way aahh) to pen down all my thoughts that has been floating in the air swirling around my head.

Saw something inspiring on tv last night when this woman had to write down all the
things she do well as a wife, mother, job(don’t have that) and herself. I think it’s good check list…to see whether we balance it all well..

As a Wife
Feed him well with good food cause hungry man is an angry man. Lol
Once in a while, make his favourite food.
Make him come back to comfortable and clean home after work.
Won’t let him go out with clothes that full of crease.
To look nice for him whenever I can especially when going out.
Give him space to do whatever he wants to do once a while (soccer, badminton, playing Xbox etc)
Not to burden him unnecessarily in money matters.
Listen to his woes on work problems
Give him a surprise gift once a while.
AND MUCH MORE…can’t think of anything else right now.

As a Mother
Feed them well with good food. Make sure they have fruits everyday.
Read them story books at naptime or bedtime on every other day.
Bring them out jln jln with Dh or without.
Visit Library at least once a month.
Always make fun activities at home(painting, drawing, paste stickers, blowing bubbles and many more, playing 'catching')
Solat with them(not jemaah la) most of the time…(they volunteer to do it)
Dress them well when going out so that they’ll feel good about themselves.
Hug them and tell them that i love them.
And etc , etc,etc

For Myself
I write blog whenever I’m inspired or when I’m free.
Surfing the net.
Read good books or magazine.
Buy myself something( no need to be expensive) nice when it’s payday. Just a new lipstick or new tudung can brighten up my world.
Watch Dvd or tv serials at night calm my nerves. (I’m a TV junkie esp channel 5 & 8)
Enjoying coffee time and reading papers approx for ½ hr after kids went to school before slogging myself doing house chores.

It’s nice to mark these down and realized that …hey …I’m not too bad after all. Sometimes it gets too routine that you don’t realize it.
Just keep on trying and making efforts…because giving up, it’s the easiest thing to do in the world. But to hold it together instead of falling apart, that’s a true strength.
How I wish I’m that strong before…. used to let my emotions rule over me but now I think I have a better control…it comes with age, I guess.

Chocolate brownies with chocolate ganache.

Pictures of making chocolate brownies. These are my hubby's favourite.

Melt the butter using double boil method then turn off the heat. Mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla essence and whisk. Then pour it over to dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, cocoa powder sifted together) and stir them well.(the result is like shown below...almost can't see anything when everything looks dark..) and put in chocolate chips(optional) and chopped walnuts( i don't have them in my case)

Pour into the baking dish and bake for 25-30 mins (180 degrees celcius)Then i prepared the chocolate ganache which i firstly melted the baking chocolate using double boil method and put a little butter in it.

Then pour in cream or whip cream and stir it away.

When the brownie has cooled down, spread the chocolate ganache on top and let it sit for a while before slicing them up.

I wish to try to make kek kukus (one of my favourites), kek lapis and kek gulung nutella .

Dazzled my palette.

Went to stationary shop and picked up some stuffs and yes...i personalised and "dazzled" my 88 palette. The love stickers have the bling-bling effect which did'nt do any justice in this picture.
Rinz was my nickname which given by Yan my ex-colleague/friend. Till now, that name mcm melekat gitu...but only she call me that. Dia memang memandai-mandai alter from Lin to Rinz...

Do you know that Aliah can't stay still for picture time? But in this picture(above), maybe she saw some bugs or insects because she tend to freak out

when she saw one.

Last Sunday after work, we intend to watch a movie (last minute decision) Monsters Vs Aliens. Before we went into the cinema, we skipped real dinner and just ate some cakes from Secret Recipe. .My favourtite of course cheesecake ..aannnd chocolate indulgence cake. While i chose marble cheesecake, i was kind of hoping Dh would choose Chocolate Indulgence so that i could take small bite out of it since i'm so torn between cheesecake and the other one. But too bad, Dh chose Walnut chocolate cake because he wanted to try something else this time.

But now, i find marble cheesecake is too cheesy for my taste...

I chose Green apple kasturi(there's sour plum in it) while Dh chose Frosty ice lemon tea. Both are super sour to Dh's liking but i'm game enough to try anything sour. I think both my kids especially Aliah followed my taste bud because she can take anything sour...such as sour plums, skittle sour(my favourite candy of all time) and so far i haven't saw her made that face yet..(the face we made when you eat something sour).

Aniq sometimes made that face but oh boy he still reaching for more...

Visit from mum, iqah n aqil.

My mum, iqah and aqil just left my house at 4.20pm as my brother epi fetched them back. I gave my mum some of my cooking today(ikan tenggiri masak taocu) to bring back home. My mum told me about Aiman's accident and i was horrified but luckily he's alright now. Alhamdullillah..
I remembered how Aniq was prone to accidents when he was little...haiy boys will be boys ...
In my defence, it's not easy to handle twins on your own...

Iqah told me something today and it is so sweet of her ..
She told me that she like coming to my house because i let her play with all the toys and she won't get bored staying here...AAwww...(me feeling touched).

While my kids were taking afternoon nap, I let iqah drew on her own on a big drawing paper with some crayons and i told her to bring back the masterpiece of hers so that she can show it to her mum.

When they left, it dawned on me that i forgot to take pictures of them...so sotong of me.
Well, it's hard to think straight when you were handling 4 kids at the same time..he he

what does it mean??

I wish to mention here that i had this dream recently about my dear husband (Dh).
It was like this, I was in my house with the kids and Dh just got home from work as usual. then suddenly he got a phonecall. He was so sneaky about it, then he hang up.
He told me that he could not listened to what his contractor was saying because the kids were so noisy so he wanted to go down to make the phonecall to his contractor.
i just nodded along then minutes later, Dh came back with a biggest smile on his face. I wondered....
So i began asking then he said nothing.
i snatched his handphone and began checking and i saw the last number dialed belong to a lady's name.I demanded his explanationa and he gave me the stupidiest excuse like i was born yesterday!!
I started crying hysterically and he tried to cajole me but i was too headstrong to listen to any of it. Then later when everybody went to sleep at night, i packed my clothes and toileteries and i was out of the house in no time. I wanted him to know my importance so i left the kids to his care..

Then deng...de...deng....suddenly i woke up from my sleep or rather a nightmare...! Astaghfirullah, it was 5.45am. Dh was sleeping soundly next to me, so i quickly jumped out of my bed and prepare myself to pray for subuh. After solat, I prayed for my marriage to be lasting, filled with love and hope that my family will be guided to the correct path. Aamiin.

I told Dh about it and he just laughed. I told him that kalau u main kayu tiga, i lari tinggalkan anak anak. you jagalah dorang..
Then i also lari dgn duit-duit u skali, jadi u tak blh ada perempuan lain.. ha ha ha (eveil laugh)Well, as you can guess...he also laughed at me and my nonsense..
