My plans

This saturday i will be going to Geylang to buy materials for Aliah's pant suit that i will making for her for Hari Raya Haji.
Usually i prefer to make her wear pant suit style because i find it easier for "Active Aliah" to move around.
I know i can just buy the ready-made but i was thinking that i should use this opportunity to brush up my sewing skills. Who knows...i might design my own clothes one day....i can at least dream about it, right?
And i know it's cheaper to make it your own rather than buying because a nice pant suit for Aliah usually can cost up to $40.00.

Now at 1.00am, i already done the draft of the pant suit so i'll just have to wait for this Saturday to get the materials and i'll try to get it done by at least Wed or Thursday since i only be making a simple design.
And i'll try to make more of my own clothes next time so that i'll be expert in no time....hehehe and i thought of taking intermediate dressmaking class next year to learn more techniques.....

Right now, I'm excited that we have made plans at last on 12/12 to meet our friends and their kids for dinner...still haven't decided where to eat...i was hoping they would choose Sakura because it'a buffet which is easier to feed the kids with their variety spread of food like pizzas, fried nuggests, cakes and so on and i miss Sakura badly too....they suggested taking flyers after that but i shake off their idea because hubby have not received his pay+bonus yet so i don't want to spend a BOMB for only 1 day...because Sakura dinner for 4 of us can easily cost us $80.00. So if we included tickets for riding Singapore Flyers, it will difinetely will cost another $100 or more but good things is that they were all parents so it was easy for them to understand.

But i'm still thinking about what to do for the kids after eating dinner together....watching movies?? Just sight-seeing at Orchard Rd to look at the beautiful lights and decoration? But it will be so crowded on Saturday and with us bringing the kids...it's not going to be easy, right?
