Three mothers combining strength to cut the cake...(of course..no..lah...my cake was not hard ..ok) it was juz a pose for the camera.

The kidz were present too...usually my mum would cook something special for us to eat. (by right..should the other way round...hehe)
This year, i have been a bad daughther cause i only wish her happy mother's day on the phone instead of meet up with her. Actually, ..hhmm...i'm a little broke this month so i don't want to dissapoint her if she sees that i did'nt buy anything for her.
As for me, ...my greatest gift as a mother that my children could give me is one rest day or an off day from the mother/cook/housewife/cleaner duties.
To be able to juz stay in bed, eat, watching tv or dvd for whole day long would be a bliss!!
To be a mother means
less sleep
less 'me' time
can't help worrying about them
buying less expensive makeup, skin care products and clothes
( I remembered how my mother used to buy cheap shoes for herself so that she can afford to buy me a nice pair..sob..sob)
